Drug raids uncover huge cannabis haul
BARS of cannabis resin worth up to £300,000 have been seized by police alongside £110,700 in cash.
The raid uncovered the haul at two addresses in Crewe on Wednesday evening.
At an address in Merril Avenue, officers found around £110,000 in cash and 90 bars of what is believed to be cannabis resin.
Equipment used for cultivating the drug was discovered at an address in Elm Close, Crewe, alongside £700 in cash.

A 38-year-old man from Crewe was arrested at the first address and has since been charged with possession of a class B drug with intent to supply and possession of a class B drug and acquiring or possessing criminal property.
Michael Appleyard appeared before Crewe magistrates on Thursday and has since been remanded in custody.
The drugs are beleived to have a street value of £250,000 and £300,000.
