Are stars of England World Cup song dressed for glory? (VIDEO)
WHAT links darts champion Phil Taylor, multi-million selling pop combo Steps and Belgium's entry for the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest?
The answer, somewhat cryptically, is a patriotic World Cup football shirt designed in Ball Green and handmade in Leek. The garment was commissioned for use in the video for Alfie St George's England World Cup song Come Follow Me, which was released this week.

Pop producer Barry Upton and entertainer Russ Williams are looking for a summer hit to capture the nation's mood.

So they had been hunting for the right sort of shirt for comedian Russ to wear in the song's promotional video.
And after spotting the St George shirts sported by The Power and James Wade during the Jocky Wilson Cup in December they got on the phone to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).
They were told the shirts were designed by Roger Goswell, from Ball Green, and made to order at Supersport in Leek.
Roger, aged 42, pictured below with the shirt, said: "They were watching the Jocky Wilson Cup and couldn't believe it when Phil Taylor walked out on the stage wearing one that was exactly what they wanted.
"They tried to get hold of Phil and then went through the PDC, who gave them my number, and it went from there."
About eight of the shirts were ordered and feature in the video for 'Come Follow Me'.
The song was written by comedian Russ and Steps creator, and former Brotherhood of Man member, Barry using the melody from Belgium's 2002 Eurovision entry Follow Me by Tony Cabana.
And Russ, who lives in Buckinghamshire, said: "What started as a bit of fun became something we were all singing."
Roger said the specially-designed 'lightning bolt' design Phil has been wearing in the Premier League has become a big seller for him since being unveiled earlier this year.
And Supersport sales manager Colin Turner said: "We've done about 100 Phil Taylor shirts so far, which has been a good quantity for us. With regard to the England shirts, we've only produced samples for Roger so far so we won't know what the reaction will be until we see how successful the song is."
