Dream homecoming for theatre group
FRESH from their sojourn on the Costa Del Sol, the Trentham Shakespeare Theatre company bring their production of A Midsummer Night's Dream back home next week.
This time, the enchanted wood will be located on the stage of the Stoke-on-Trent Rep, where Shakespeare's comic fantasy is being performed for two nights only.

First presented in the open-air theatre by the lake at Trentham Gardens, the acclaimed production again features Ian Brereton and Caroline Keen as Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the Fairies, with David Bryan as Bottom and Sarah Mould as Puck.
Also reprising their original roles are David Attenborough (Duke Theseus), Ian W Wilson (Peter Quince) and Oliver M Davies (Lysander).
Others in the cast include newcomers Jonathan Brunskill, Susie Machin and Samantha, Rushton, plus Matthew Bateman, Alan Hodgkinson, Andrew Bourne and Tom Williamson.
