Double decker bus fire on M6
A DOUBLE decker bus has been severely damaged after it caught fire on the M6.
Emergency crews were called to the southbound hard shoulder of the motorway, between junction 14 and 15, at around 7.30am this morning.

It took firefighters from Longton, Hanley, Newcastle and Stone more than an hour to extinguish the blaze, which destroyed much of the bus.
The fire caused long tailbacks on the motorway during the morning rush hour.

No one is believed to have been hurt in the blaze, a Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said.
