Dorothy Clive Garden opens to public
GARDENING TIME: The Dorothy Clive Garden is now open to the public for the 2009 season.
The 12-acre garden at Willoughbridge, on the A51 south of Woore, was built on the site of a 19th-century quarry by Colonel Harry Clive for his wife Dorothy in the post-war years.

It is now run by the Willoughbridge Garden Trust and is open to visitors as well as being the venue for fund-raising events throughout the year.
The new season runs until September 27.
On Easter Monday, April 13, a free programme of garden talks will be staged. The garden is open from 10am until 5.30pm and on that day entry will be £2.50 – half normal price.
