Don't judge Jade Goody
DON'T JUDGE JADE: I have to say I totally disagree with Mr Horton's letter on Jade Goody (The Sentinel, Monday, February 16). Although people have a difference of opinion on Jade they should be respecting what she is doing to make people aware of cervical cancer and ensuring the upbringing of her two sons.
I think it is disgusting to think that just because Jade is making cash through publicity it should go to a charity.
She is just doing her job, which by doing so will make people more aware of the cervical cancer and may increase donations to charities anyway.
I could place a bet that 99 per cent of people who have young families would be leaving all their money to their children if they know they didn't have long left – because surely every parent wants the best for their children.

“Anyone who claims she should give all of her money to charity should first give all their money to charity. Totally ridiculous, at no point "should" anyone give money to charity, it is a voluntary thing and should never be obligatory or necessary, otherwise it is a tax.”
