'Distressed' woman talked down from motorway bridge
A DISTRESSED woman had to be talked down from the edge of a motorway bridge on Monday afternoon.
Police were forced to close the M6 between junctions 14 and 15 following fears the woman might jump.

Police at the scene of an incident near Stafford on the M6 between junctions 14 and 15 today.
Specially-trained officers arrived at around 2.30pm and sealed off the area, causing massive delays.
At 4.30pm, a spokesman for Staffordshire Police said the woman was "taken to a place of safety".
