Dental signs lure patients
NEW signs are being fitted outside Stoke-on-Trent's dental practices to try to attract more patients.
NHS Stoke-on-Trent wants to pay for signs outside its 26 dental practices to highlight its services.
Dental health consultant Kate Taylor-Weetman said: "Good oral health is very important and it is vital that people know where they can access dental services through the NHS.
"The bright blue and white signs will help attract people to the practices and make them aware that NHS dentistry is available in Stoke-on-Trent."
Signs have already been put up at Shelton Dental Care in Shelton and its sister practice in Blurton.
Shelton practice manager Shirley Boyle said: "The signs are a very welcome addition to our premises."
