Delays expected during resurfacing work on Trentham Road
BLURTON: Motorists are being asked to allow extra time for their journeys or use alternative roads while Stoke-on-Trent City Council carries out resurfacing works next week. The road repairs will be carried out, subject to weather conditions, in Trentham Road between Barlaston Road and Magdalen Road from Monday for approximately two weeks.
The works will be carried out between Monday and Friday each week from 9.30am until 3.30pm. Temporary traffic signals will be in operation.
Councillor Adrian Knapper, cabinet member for transport and planning, said: "We'll try and minimise disruption as much as possible.
"We can understand people's frustration at potential delays, but I would ask them to be patient, as carrying out the work now will mean they have a higher quality road network in years to come."
