Deal Or No Deal contestant Caroline Banana denies 10 benefit fraud charges
DEAL Or No Deal contestant Caroline Banana has pleaded not guilty to 10 charges of benefit fraud.
The 40-year-old is accused of failing to declare her £95,000 win on the hit TV game show while claiming income support, council tax benefit and housing benefit.

She is also accused of failing to notify the authorities of other changes in her circumstances that would affect her eligibility for benefits.
Prosecutors she say dishonestly claimed a total of £6,758.

Banana, of Whitridge Grove, Bentilee, pleaded not guilty to all the charges at North Staffordshire Justice Centre this afternoon.
Millions of TV viewers saw Zimbabwe-born Banana scoop the cash prize on Deal Or No Deal more than a year ago. She then posed for pictures with host Noel Edmonds.
The case was adjourned for a trial, which will be held on April 25.
