David Cameron to meet Stafford Hospital campaigners
CONSERVATIVE leader David Cameron is set to meet with NHS campaigners over Stafford Hospital today.
The Leader of the Opposition is meeting Julie Bailey, one of the organisers of the Cure the NHS campaign, at its headquarters in Stafford. Mrs Bailey is among a number of people who are calling for a public inquiry into the hospital scandal.

Mr Cameron's visit comes after a shocking report by the Healthcare Commission highlighted low staffing levels, inadequate nursing and a lack of equipment and leadership at the hospital. Patients were left lying in soiled beds and some were so dehydrated they had to drink out of flower vases.
Since the failings were officially revealed last month 43 relatives have requested an independent review of their loved one's case notes.
More than 90 calls have been answered by a helpline set up by the Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust to deal with complaints. That line has now closed, but patients and relatives still hoping to raise concerns can request a review.
