Cricket star denies charge

FORMER England cricketer Kim Barnett has appeared in court accused of harassment.

The 52-year-old ex-Derbyshire batsman has denied harassing Janet Barnett.

Barnett, of Ashdale Road, Leek, is alleged to have visited her home and workplace, and displayed pictures of her in his vehicle at locations where he knew she would be.

His trial will be held at North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle, in March.
