Cricket: Fenton to start new season
FENTON will take their place in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League Division Three this season after all.
The club feared they may fold due to a lack of players, with league officials denying them permission to add to their squad outside the transfer window.
They were given a deadline of yesterday to inform the league of their intentions.
Fenton have only 21 registered players for two sides, although they will fulfil their fixtures, and add new faces in the seven-day window in the middle of May.
