The main attraction of the event will be a BBC Radio Stoke selection up against a Post and Times side in a limited overs cricket match, sponsored by Bury and Hilton.

Organiser John Barratt said: "This should be an entertaining game with plenty of action and laughs with some of your favourite presenters and writers."

The day, sponsored by Esterchem Chemicals, starts at 1pm this Sunday at Staffordshire Moorlands Cricket Club, St Edwards Park Rugby Ground, in Cheddleton.

A bar and barbecue will be available and a golf challenge is set to take place at the far end of the ground.

Stocks are expected to be filled upon request ready for anybody to pelted with wet sponges and a bouncy castle is back by demand.

A Soccer AM crossbar challenge will take place, with prizes awarded for anyone who his the target.

And new to the fun day this year is "fairground darts".

Barratt said: "I'm not too sure what the format will be but I'm sure it will not be too testing."

Live music will be provided by Ash Robinson.
