HARTLEPOOL UNITED 1
(Horwood 9)
ALEX boss Steve Davis was happy with the result, but not the performance as the Railwaymen put a stop to their five-game winless streak with a hard-fought comeback against Hartlepool United.
Mark Ellis netted his first goal for the club to seal the points for Crewe after Chuks Aneke had cancelled out Evan Horwood's early opener.
But things could have been easier for the Railwaymen had Mathias Pogba not ignored his manager's orders to let Harry Davis take a first-half penalty – which the striker went on to balloon into the stands.

Steve Howard: Former Derby County striker has plenty of weight to throw around.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE
Darren Drysdale (Lincs): Was in charge of Crewe's play-off semi-final second-leg match at Southend last May and also their 3-1 win at Preston in December.

Crewe: Phillips, Mellor, Robertson, Davis, Ellis, Dugdale, Murphy, Osman, Pogba, Moore, Aneke.
PREDICTION
Simon Walton gives Hartlepool the lead when he steals a march on the Alex midfield, but Byron Moore's double turns the game on its head.
