Crewe Alexandra: Steve Davis signs on to new 18-month contract as manager
STEVE Davis has put pen to paper on a new 18-month contract as Crewe manager.
The 47-year-old had been on a rolling three-month deal since being promoted to the post of manager in place of Dario Gradi in November last year.

His success in turning the Alex's season around last year to gain promotion to League One has attracted interest from clubs higher up the pyramid.
But he has been in discussions with Crewe for two months about a deal which will tie him to the club until the end of next season.
