Crewe Alexandra: Steve Davis prepared to look at loan market again
CREWE may venture back into the loan window to bolster their squad, but Steve Davis is not panicking about doing business before the transfer window shuts.
Davis has used the loan market already this season and Chuks Aneke, Brad Inman and Lauri Dalla Valle were notable success stories.

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis is prepared to dip into the loan market again.
Now, however, Dalla Valle, aged 21, has returned to Fulham to consider his long-term future and Aneke, aged 19, has gone back to Arsenal mulling over his immediate plans.
Davis, below, is open to both players returning, or dipping back into other Premier League youth teams if the need arises.

He said: "If we were going to do any business in January it would be permanently, but I would rather bring someone in for free at the end of the season than pay now.
"The loan market has been very successful for us this season and there is no reason we can't go back to that.
"You cannot bring anyone in for the first seven days when the transfer window shuts, but then it opens up again so there is no great rush on our part."
Davis is reluctant to sign any loanees with a rule they must play if fit, as was the case with Dalla Valle, but recognises their value.
He said: "I'm still in dialogue with Arsenal and Fulham.
"Chuks has gone back to see his girlfriend and family. He's only 19 and it can be tough moving up here to live in a hotel.
"The door will remain open, although we don't want to leave it too long.
"He will go back to being involved in under-21 football at Arsenal, but he is past that stage now."
Davis has had no inquiries about any of his own players during the first three weeks of the transfer window, and hopes that will remain the case.
"I will be more than happy to get to the end of January with this squad intact," he said.
"It's a good squad and we've done very well. I am sure there's a lot more to come from them.
"It would be a blow to lose our best players. It was a blow in the summer to lose Nick (Powell) and Ashley (Westwood) but we had time to bring in a few new players too. I wouldn't want to do that halfway through a season."
