Crewe Alexandra: Steve Davis looks keen to keep Lauri Dalla Valle
CREWE manager Steve Davis has hinted he will extend the loan of striker Lauri Dalla Valle after his sensational start for the club.
The 21-year-old Fulham hitman has scored four times in his five matches, including both goals in Crewe's 2-0 win at home to Crawley Town last Saturday.

He is eligible for the Alex's FA Cup second-round game at home to Burton on Saturday and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at home to Doncaster next Tuesday.
His initial month's loan is due to run out immediately after Crewe's League One match at Preston a week on Saturday, but Davis wants to sort out the striker's future before then.

He said: "It depends on Lauri. Whatever we want to do, it will depend on whether he wants to stay or go back.
"But I do know he is thoroughly enjoying his stay here and enjoying the football we play.
"He is getting his rewards because of that and is working very hard for the team. It is brilliant when you get players like that coming along.
"Normally you have to get them fit, do some work with them and integrate them, but he is the sort of lad who does exactly what he is told to do.
"He has found it very easy to make the transition and has been a breath of fresh air for us."
The striker made an instant impression on Davis and assistant Neil Baker.
They had planned to use him in two under-21 games before deciding whether to take him on loan, but instead pressed on with the deal after seeing the striker in just two training sessions.
Now the Crewe boss will move quickly to ensure Dalla Valle stays in South Cheshire.
Davis said: "It is something we have talked about. We have just over a week to decide and it is something we will do sooner rather than later."
