Crewe Alexandra: Midday pitch inspection for Sheffield United clash
A PITCH inspection has been called ahead of Crewe's League One match against title-chasing Sheffield United.
The Gresty Road playing surface will be inspected at 12pm following another night of freezing conditions in South Cheshire.
Temperatures are expected to rise to about 4C this afternoon.
The fixture is scheduled for 7.45pm and a postponement would add to the Alex's fixure backlog.
