Crewe Alexandra: League One clash with Sheffield United postponed due to frozen pitch
CREWE Alexandra's home match against Sheffield United planned for this evening has been postponed.
The frozen playing surface at Gresty Road was judged too dangerous when a pitch inspection was held by referee Peter Roberts at 12pm.
The club will need another pitch inspection tomorrow ahead of an under-21 game against Nottingham Forest.
But it is too early to predict if a League One home fixture against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday is in danger of being called off.
