WINGER Byron Moore and rookie forward Ryan Colclough have been added to Crewe's ever-growing injury list ahead of tonight's League One clash with Oldham Athletic at Gresty Road (7.45pm).

Moore turned an ankle during Crewe's 1-0 defeat at MK Dons on Saturday, while Colclough fractured his jaw when he was caught by Darren Potter's flailing elbow. They join midfielder Abdul Osman (ankle), goalkeeper Steve Phillips (knee), forward Mike West (heel) and defender Adam Dugdale (back) in the treatment room.

However, front man Mathias Pogba and loanee Chuks Aneke return from injury and suspension respectively to boost the squad. Max Clayton and Kelvin Mellor have also recovered from knocks they took at the weekend.

Moore could return for Saturday's fixture against Hartlepool, but Colclough is expected to be out of action for at least five weeks.

It is a sorry blow for the 17-year-old, who was making his second senior appearance.

Manager Steve Davis said: "We don't think it is displaced, so thankfully it might not need pinning.

"In the long-term it will be more of a mental scar than physical.

"I have watched the replay and I don't think it was an intentional elbow.

"But their player does lead with his arm and the referee was only six feet away and didn't even give us a free-kick.

"I'm not saying their lad should have been sent off, but it was disappointing we didn't get a free-kick.

"The best way of stopping a 17-year-old is maybe roughing him up a bit, and maybe that was what he was trying to do."
