Crewe Alexandra: Free agent Ellington training at Reaseheath
NATHAN Ellington is training with Crewe Alexandra after leaving Ipswich Town.
The 31-year-old striker had become frustrated with his lack of game time at Portman Road, where he had made only three starts in 18 months.
His contract was cancelled by mutual consent late last month and he is now working with Crewe as his future is resolved.
Crewe manager Steve Davis said: "Nathan lives in Manchester and he's coming down to work with us to get himself fit and going.

"He's a free agent so we will have a look at that situation. He's played a the top level and he's been a thorn in many defences' sides.
"If we can improve the team we will do it. A lot of players don't peak until their 30s, I was playing my best football at 32.
"We've not promised him anything, just get in the place to train and we will see how it goes."
