Crewe Alexandra: Davis relishing return to action
STEVE Davis says Crewe cannot afford to be ring rusty as they prepare to take on Bournemouth in their first League One test for a fortnight.
The Alex have set off for the south coast early today to try to avoid any chaos caused by the forecast snow this afternoon.
Bournemouth are confident they will avoid the worst of the weather and give the Railwaymen a welcome challenge in their pursuit of the League One play-offs.

Crewe manager Davis said: "It's a couple of weeks since we played against Leyton Orient and 10 days since Bradford City (in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy).
"It's been frustrating to see other teams around us in the table playing while we are forced to be patient so we are looking forward to this game.
"I'm not sure how the break will affect us. Hopefully our lads will go out feeling fresh - but Bournemouth have been playing so you'd think they'll be sharp.
"Our away form hasn't been bad and we had some good wins at Doncaster and Preston. I want to see that sort of performance again.
"I am sure our following will be good. Our supporters haven't seen much football lately and hopefully they'll see an entertaining game."
Keeper Alan Martin is not expected to feature. He trained earlier in the week but has suffered a reaction to an injured ankle, meaning Steve Phillips will be handed the number one jersey.
