Crewe Alex: Newcastle youngster Inman signs on loan
CREWE have bolstered their midfield by signing Brad Inman on loan from Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old joined the club shortly before the Football League's loan deadline shut at 5pm last night and will be available to take on Crawley Town at home tomorrow (3pm).
The Australian-born Scotland youth international has yet to make his senior bow with the Magpies.
He was named Newcastle under-18 player-of-the-year in 2010, but was frustrated by injuries last season.

He is with Crewe until January 2 after manager Steve Davis highlighted the centre of the park as a potential worry in terms of cover and numbers.
Captain Luke Murphy and Abdul Osman are the only senior players Davis has in that position, with Ollie Turton providing back-up.
Billy Waters and Liam Nolan are well thought of in the Alex youth team, but Neil Baker told The Sentinel last week that he thought it would be best for their development to stay at that level for now.
Inman, who says he bases his game on Cesc Fabregas, has scored seven times in eight starts for Newcastle's under-21s team this season.
He joins fellow loan boys Lauri Dalla Valle and Chuks Aneke in the Railwaymen's first-team squad.
Aneke grabbed his fourth goal of the season in a wide open game against Sheffield United on Tuesday, when Crewe showed fighting spirit to earn a 3-3 draw.
But less attack-minded opponents have dedicated more men to the 19-year-old, including Shrewsbury in a 1-0 defeat last weekend.
Davis said: "We use Chuks as we did Nick in that linking role between midfield and attack but if he's unavailable we need to be clever and change the link and use the wingers."
