Crewe Alex: Match statistics

LEICESTER 1

CREWE 1
(Higdon 40)
MIKE Higdon headed Crewe in front at the Walkers Stadium, but Crewe couldn't hold on to secure a much-needed win against 10-man Leicester.
Higdon's far-post headed finish put the visitors ahead just before the interval, but Leicester eventually hit back through Iain Hume and Crewe, who remained second from bottom of the Championship, were left hanging on for a point.

WHO WE'D LIKE TO SIGN
Striker Matty Fryatt, left, who has 13 goals this season, was tracked during his Walsall days and spent time as a junior in Crewe's Academy.
WHO TO BOO
Bulgarian defender Aleksander Tunchev – has a string of bookings and could be tipped over the edge.
THE MAN IN BLACK
Surrey-based Gavin Ward, in his second season on the Football League list, has never taken charge of a Crewe game.

Leicester: Henderson, Edworthy, Mattock, Morrison, Tunchev, Oakley, King, Berner, Dyer, Fryatt, DJ Campbell.
Crewe: Tomlinson, Brayford, Jones, O'Donnell, Baudet, Lunt, O'Connor, Woodards, Grant, Miller, Zola.
PREDICTION
STRANGER things have happened and Alex fans fancying a cheeky bet on their side can get up to 9-1 on them winning at Leicester.
But the clever money is on another defeat – 3-1 to the Foxes.
