CHILDREN can meet creepy and slithery creatures this Halloween half-term.

The first Meet The Creepy Keeper events took place on Saturday and Sunday at The Palms Tropical Oasis in Stapeley Water Gardens, near Nantwich.

The event, which gives visitors chance to chat to zoo keepers and handle a variety of exotic animals, will also be running today, Wednesday and Saturday.

On Friday, children can take part in colouring, quizzes and competitions. Children wearing Halloween fancy dress can get into The Palms free.
