Crazy Red Nose Day events in North Staffordshire (Video)
Hundreds of fun-loving folk from across North Staffordshire took part in wacky events to raise money for Red Nose Day today.
Those who took part included students from Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College who dressed-up as super-heroes and marched across Hanley Park.
Meanwhile, 40 staff from Sainsbury’s shops from across the area were taught Gangham-style dance so they can perform in front of the crowd at tomorrow's Stoke City game at the Britannia Stadium.
And staff at Ageas Insurance, in Trentham, raised more than £500 after they bravely took part in a Man vs Food challenge, battling against each other to finish three chilli hot-dogs.
Three directors of One-sure Insurance, in Kidsgrove, dressed up as Shrek, Princess Fiona and Puss-in-Boots while their staff were shaved and waxed all for charity.
A grateful grandmother, Elizabeth Rooke, from Tunstall, put on full baby attire and completed a four-mile walk in aid of the University of North Staffordshire Hospital's premature baby unit which saved the life of her grandaughter, Kayleigh Eagles, now aged seven, who was born 10 weeks early and given a two per cent chance of survival.
These were just some of the crazy events which took place.
