Crash victims still in hospital
FOUR people remain in hospital following the Alton coach crash.
A coach carrying 70 immigrant workers back to Peterborough after a day out at Alton Towers careered off the road on Monday evening.
Polish man Piotr Wolski, aged 26, was killed in the crash, and many were injured.
A 21-year-old woman remains in a critical condition at Birmingham's Selly Oak Hospital, while the coach driver was also in a critical condition at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. Two other people also remain at the University Hospital.
A Home Office post mortem carried out on Mr Wolski on Thursday was inconclusive, so further tests will now be carried out.
Police are continuing to investigate what caused the crash. The coach is still being examined.
Detectives are interviewing passengers from the coach and have also interviewed several witnesses from Alton.
