County show on airwaves
ALL the latest news from the Staffordshire County Show will be broadcast live over the airwaves.
County Show Radio will be broadcast from the two-day event held on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28.
The radio station aims to provide a mix of music and conversation from the show.
It will be aimed at visitors, who will be able to watch radio programmes in progress, and people in the Stafford area who cannot attend.
Listeners can tune in to 87.7FM, just below BBC Radio 2, for the station.
Staffordshire County Show press officer Shaun Geraghty said: "The station will bring a flavour of the county show into both local homes and the cars of those travelling to and from the showground and through the area.
"It will broadcast interviews with competitors and stallholders at the show, along with a mix of lively music."
The radio station will be on air between 8am and 8pm on both days.
