Countdown to Art in the Park
THOUSANDS of visitors are expected to descend on a park for the highlight of a town's arts festival.
Art in the Park at Leek's Brough Park has become one of the most keenly-anticipated events in the Staffordshire Moorlands calendar.
The Leek Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers is promising its largest-ever display at the event, which is now in its seventh year.
Visitors are reminded to take along their cameras to take part in a photographic competition and to join in with photography workshops being run by Rethink Mental Illness in the neighbouring John Hall Gardens.

Last year's event attracted more than 1,000 visitors and I am confident that the many attractions lined up for this year's party will help us set another attendance record".
Art in the Park takes place from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, May 12, and from 10am to 4pm the next day.
