GOALKEEPER Matt Cooper – who made a surprise appearance for Glossop at Wembley in the FA Vase defeat against Whitley Bay – is set to exit Harrison Park.

The 20-year old stopper, who joined Leek from Macclesfield Town in July 2007, has opted to remain at Glossop and is not expected to join the Blues when the pre-season commences on Thursday, June 25.

However, manager Wayne Johnson has confirmed that goalkeeper Steve Hodgson, below, will remain at the UniBond Division One club.
