TWO celebrity chefs will be demonstrating their cookery skills to the public as part of a roadshow promoting the "love food, hate waste" campaign.

Ready, Steady, Cook star Nigel Brown and Good Food Channel regular Richard Fox will be fronting the events at venues in South Cheshire.

The roadshows are being organised by Cheshire East Council to encourage people to make use of their food-leftovers and reduce the amount they throw away.

Nigel Brown, who owns his own cookery academy, will be doing demonstrations at Tesco supermarket car park, in Congleton, on March 12, at The Cobbles in Sandbach on March 13, and at Tesco, in Middlewich, on March 19.

Meanwhile, Richard Fox will be entertaining the crowds in Crewe's Market Square on March 5, and in Nantwich town centre on March 6. Each of the events will run from 10am until 4pm.
