Concert was a complete waste of time
WASTE OF TIME: After spending £75 on tickets to enjoy a night of entertainment at Trentham Gardens, I was disappointed to find I would be spending two and half hours on the car park.
We arrived at 5.45pm to find the gates still locked and to our surprise had to join a very long queue. All week Signal had been advertising that the gates for ticket holders would be open at 5.30pm and we would be able to set up chairs and picnics and start the party.

PARTY: Ali Campbell on stage at the 25th birthday of celebrations of Signal Radio. Picture: Steve Bould
A member of Trentham estates senior staff said the gates would be open at 6.30pm and that Ali Campbell would not let the public in until he had done his sound check. There was no mention on the radio that they were having any problems at all. The gates were opened at 7.30pm and the public was allowed into the gardens but not into the concert area. We arrived in the concert at 8.20pm.
There was no toilets on the car park so men where using the trees and the girls just had to cross their legs and hope we would not be there too long. Children had to wee in the gutter.
This whole episode could have been prevented by just opening the gates and letting us sit on the grass and wait, instead of just being left out on the car park with no information at all.
The whole night was a total waste of time and money and I expect a full refund.
I am also not happy with Signal's 'like it or lump it' attitude.
