RESIDENTS have a chance to look around a college's new £60 million campus.

Newcastle College is holding an open day tomorrow to give people the opportunity to tour the new facilities at the Knutton Lane complex and meet staff.

They include a 200-seat auditorium.

College principal and chief executive Karen Dobson will also be giving a talk aimed at helping school leavers choose the right course during the event, which runs from 10am to 1pm.

Head of corporate communications Rachel Till said: "Many of our facilities, such as The Gordon Banks Sports Centre and the Transform Salon and Spa, are available to the public and I'd encourage local people to come and see what's on offer."
