Kerry is fast becoming recognized as the First Lady of the West End, and has also achieved chart-topping success as a recording artist performing at Wembley Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall alongside Josh Groban and Queen legend Brian May.

Jill added: "The College is dedicated to providing outstanding opportunities to its students and visits like this from industry professionals allows the students to gain an insight in to the industry and employability skills, which will help them in their career progression."

NULC currently provides a range of performing arts courses including A Level Drama and Theatre Studies and the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts.  In addition the College works in partnership with the Jill Clewes Performing Arts Centre based in Basford, which is home to the College's Academy for Theatre Arts, where students study the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts.

Students from the Academy for Theatre Arts are encouraged to gain practical experience in the industry, which has recently seen 16-year-old student Fran Mills from Market Drayton spend three months in Mansfield where she played Happy in the Pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs alongside stars of Coronation Street.

Students from the Academy for Theatre Arts have progressed on to outstanding careers including Oliver Ramsdale who fought off strong competition from across the country to be awarded a place at top London performing arts school; Laine Theatre Arts College, sponsored by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation.
