"Stokeace, this seems to be privet investment being made. Hopefully it may have a knock on effect to other privet investment in other parts of the city. It's a big city and could do with someting on the lines of this offered in other parts of it. The area around the car parks of the shopping centre is a disgrace to this city, this will vastly improve the city centre and can only be encouraged. The main thing is a city centre cinema, witch is something we have not had in years, and I think will be more then welcome,"

Lets get hanley yanked into the 21st century orther then sitting in the 1980s world we have now. Every one, look at the CGI, and if anyone don't want something like that in the city centrer, they need mantel help."

"Now that sounds good, the loss of parking space means that the focus must be put on public transport to get people there, but with forward thinking that can be done. "May I suggest that CSC in fact ensure that the Potteries Shopping Center is ran better before they think about expanding. The pullling of the food area I. The center was a dreadful move and he center a never fully recovered from that. There are to many empty units and stores selling tat to. I take it that the areas needed are at the moment car park, and most of the idiots hear constantly say there is nowhere to park and the removal of council ran parking, so why should any more parking be lost.”

The hypocrisy of this letter infuriates me.

Mr Ward was the cabinet member for regeneration in the last all party coalition, previous to that he was the deputy leader of the city council in a 3way coalition with the Tories and the Lib Dums.

Mr Ward was the cabinet member who signed off on a bus station that was not big enough and he has the audacity to mention this in his letter as if this is a new thing. It happened on this former used car salesman's watch!

And let us scrutinise what Ward and the City Independents have done sine they blazed onto the Potteries Political Scene in the early 00's......
