Chris showing rivals clean pair of heels with Premier League idea
A STAFFORD entrepreneur is expanding his cleaning products franchise.
Chris Lunn, whose Chemex franchise currently covers Stafford, Telford and Wolverhampton, is expanding into Stoke-on-Trent with the help of a five-figure business loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
Chemex, an international hygiene solution company, provides chemical and biological cleaning products and systems to commercial clients in sectors ranging from hospitality to healthcare.
Chris has already won business from Stoke City FC – Chemex's first Premier League client.
The loan has enabled him to take on another member of staff and last month he was named Chemex Achiever of the Year.
Chris said: "The cleaning and hygiene market is thriving and I saw a great opportunity to tap into this growth. No matter what the economic climate, companies still need to keep their premises clean and hygienic.
"A lot of businesses have endured a tough couple of years but my sales have increased. I've banked with Lloyds TSB Commercial from the offset because they understand the issues I face as a small business and have supported me throughout. Moving into a new territory seemed a logical step to grow and I hope to continue along this path for years to come."
Lisa Rushton, for Lloyds TSB Commercial, said: "Chris has the entrepreneurial skills to drive his business forward and we're committed to helping individuals with strong business plans."
