Chris Birchall signs for Port Vale
Midfielder Chris Birchall has signed a contract at Port Vale until the end of the season.
The 28 year old, from Yarnfield near Stone, has signed up to Vale's promotion campiagn after leaving United States side Columbus Crew.

Chris Birchall has signed for Port Vale.
Birchall originally came through the ranks at Vale Park before Micky Adams took him to Coventry City for £300,000 in 2006.
He's now reunited with Vale manager Adams after spending the last month training with the club.

“Interesting signing this, since Vale were not allowed to sign him last year,
whilst in Administration - here's hoping he can stll cut the mustard and
perform well enough for the cause.
It's going to be along battle from now until the end of Season.”
