Children going wild for charity
WILD THINGS: Youngsters are going wild this week at a series of half-term activities hosted by a conservation charity.
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is running a varied programme of events for young eco-warriors to help them to discover the delights of the natural world.
The sessions, which started yesterday at Priors Fields, in Sandford Hill, encourage children to enjoy the great outdoors and activities include a variety of environmental games and crafts.
Today children were due to take part in activities in Hanley Park and Etruria Park.
Sessions will be taking place tomorrow at Burslem Park and Westport Lake.
On Thursday, it's Hanford Park and Trent Vale and the week culminates with a Halloween Spooktacular fun day at Hem Heath Nature Reserve on Friday.
