Children dared to face the Jabberwock this half term at city libraries

Children are being invited to a drama workshop of monstrous proportions next week should they dare to enter libraries across the city.
Over the half term, children and young people can attend the sessions themed around the Jabberwock; a nonsensical fire breathing monster from the Lewis Carroll novel Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The free sessions will include a drama workshop, led by staff from the New Vic theatre, craft activities and games.
The venues and times are:-
- Monday February 13, City Central Library drop in all day 10am – 3:30pm,
- Tuesday February 14, Tunstall Library, 10am -11am and 11:15am - 12:15pm,
- Tuesday February 14, Bentilee Library, 1:30pm – 2:30pm and 2:45pm – 3:45pm,
- Wednesday February 15, Meir Library, 10am - 11am and 11:15am -12:15pm,
- Wednesday February 15, Longton Library, 1:30pm – 2:30pm and 2:45am – 3:45pm,
