“If it is wrong for MPs or anyone else to fiddle any type of benefit, then how come only a few carried the can?

We let 600 MPs off for fiddling, why not the occassional person from Stoke?”

“On the same day this rag goes all gooey about Charles giving his patronage to a 'quaint' potbank... is this the 18th century?

Only, some of us know a real parasite when we see one!”

“@Mole: The fact that MP's were caught with their fingers in the jampot doesn't mean that this lady should get away with the same offence.
She has got away with it, as some of the MP's did. And it's you and I who foot the bill.
Don't know about you, but I'm fed up with funding people's expensive and unwarranted (and unlawful) lifestyle, whether they be MP's, deserted wives, royalty or ex-pat benefit cheats.”
