CELEBRITY chef Marco Pierre White was forced to rearrange a Stoke City-themed version of Hell's Kitchen, because his star contestants were busy playing football.

The charity event was due to take place at the Britannia Stadium last night.

And footballers Ryan Shawcross, Liam Lawrence and Rory Delap were expected to take part in a culinary challenge.

But the club's game against Burnley was moved from Tuesday to last night to give the players enough time to recover from their Chelsea clash on Sunday.

And that meant the black tie dinner was postponed.

A Potters spokesman said they were hoping to rearrange the event for next month.

Everyone who bought tickets will be able to attend at the later date.

The event will be in aid of the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust and Caudwell Children.
