Centre should be like Hanover hall

I ENCLOSE a picture of the New City Hall, Hanover, Germany (no doubt built with EEC funding).

If we need a new town hall, why can't we build something like this, not the abomination/monstrosity that our council is planning?

OVERSEAS: Letter writer Brian M Felton sent a picture of the New City Hall in Hanover, Germany. He believes Stoke-on-Trent's new civic centre should look more like this building. Inset, an artist's impression of the city council's proposed centre.

No doubt they will be commissioning Banksy to decorate the exterior of our new town hall at some exorbitant fee, which I am sure would be in keeping with the design (apologies to Clarice Cliff).

Planners and councillors, please have another think before we completely ruin our city.
