Cemetery grass a grave concern
THE city council urgently needs to rethink its grass cutting policy at our cemeteries.
My parents are buried at Burslem Cemetery, and I was disgusted on my last visit at the state of the place.
My shoes and feet were soaked by the time I had walked through the grass to reach the grave!
I have just returned from holiday abroad and was so impressed at how lovely their cemeteries are kept – they obviously have more respect for their loved ones than this council allows us to have for ours.
