Cars crash at Festival Park
THREE people had to be cut free from the wreckage of a two-car crash at Festival Park.
Paramedics and firefighters were called to the crash near WaterWorld after a collision between a Fiat Punto and a Citroen Saxo at 9pm last night.
Two of the casualties – a teenage girl and a man – were taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
It is not known how many casualties were in each car.
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We released three people from the accident."

“people have been hanging around festival park before the houses were built. yes there are some idiots but most people down there are not as bad as people make out. they just park their cars and have a chat. as much as mcdonalds etc complain they would probably have to be shut down if they were not receiving the business. if their was something to do for people around here other than get drunk or gamble then maybe we would do smething else. but we have a right to be in festial park just like everyone else. and as much as the police or other people think they can stop it they cannot.”

“Stokie, what a selfish attitude to have! What about people that live in the surrounding areas, not necessary Festival Park? I very much doubt you were driving round Fest Park like a prat before these houses were built, were you? Why dont you find yourself somewhere else to go where you wont cause any disruption? Seems like you arent bothered, but you are happy to cause a nuisance.”

we have as must right to be there as we were there before the houses up on fez park were built, the only people to blame is the people who live in them houses as they knew this happened and yet still moved there

“Well said Belinda, I think all this 'body kit' & exhaust stuff is rediculous, if you want a car with a big spoiler buy it, if you want a car with a big exhaust make sure its got a big engine in it, what you're doing to these corsa's & saxo's is rather funny, I often laugh as they drive past me in their 1.2's with baseball cap over their eyes & booming music trying to race every other car with a spoiler on it. If you spent your money on an actual car instead of plastic you could probably end up with a sporty car that is designed to have a big exhaust & a spoiler to actually keep it on the road NOT just for looks.
Instead of disrupting all these poor people that live around festival park, go & rent a field or something out in the middle of no where , then you can do all the stupid driving you like & play the music as loud as you want. Don't just think about number one , think about the people that may be working in the morning or have children.”
