Car overturns in Tunstall collision

A MOTORIST was taken to hospital after a car overturned in Tunstall this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Victoria Park Road shortly after midday following a three-vehicle accident.

A red Fiat Panda ended up on its roof after being in collision with a red Renault Clio and a silver Ford Ka.

The driver of the Panda was treated at the scene for chest pains before being taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Police had to close the road in both directions while the vehicles were recovered, leading to traffic delays.

    An interesting item of local news, worthy of a picture. But what does the Sentinel choose to show us? An archive picture of the hospital which added nothing to the report.

    What lazy journalism! They might as well have shown a photo of Longton Town Hall. (With apologies to the good folk of Longton)”
