Car overturned on M6 near Stafford
One man was airlifted to hospital with potentially serious injuries after the car he was driving crashed on the M6 near Stafford today (Wednesday, May 16).
The car ended up on its roof on the embankment after the crash at around 1.30pm on the southbound carriageway of the M6 about half a mile from junction 14.

West Midlands Ambulance Service
An ambulance, a BASICS Emergency Doctor, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, ambulance staff found a car on its roof on the embankment.

"After being assessed by the doctor, the man was anaesthetised due to a potentially serious head injury.
"He was then taken by land ambulance on blue lights to the Major Trauma Centre at University Hospital North Staffordshire where medics were awaiting his arrival."
