ABBEY HULTON
The cases of Matthew Woolley, aged 22, of Blakelow Road, Abbey Hulton and Aiden McGraw, aged 19, of Rochester Road, Sandford Hill, were adjourned until February 25 at North Staffordshire Justice Centre. Both men face an allegation of stealing four alloy wheels and tyres worth £200 belonging to Stephen Angell on January 30 in Biddulph.

BASFORD
Brett Owen, aged 39, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on Martin Grime on July 23 last year. Owen, of Victoria Street, Basford, will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. He was bailed but told all sentencing options are open to the court.

BLYTHE BRIDGE
A seven day prison sentence was imposed on Anthony Jones, who pleaded guilty at North Staffordshire Justice Centre to failing to answer to his bail on January 28. He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour at Blythe Bridge on October 29 and was fined £150 with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
CHECKLEY
Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre adjourned sentence for reports on Oliver Carroll, of Church Lane, Checkley. The 31-year-old was convicted after a trial of assault by beating on Susan Salt on October 6, driving with excess alcohol and failing to stop after a road accident. He will appear again on March 11 and was bailed.
CHESTERTON
A man has appeared before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre charged with making more than 46,000 indecent photographs of children. Stephen Smith, aged 29, of Victoria Street, Chesterton, faces a total of 12 offences. The charges involve a number of offences of making indecent movie images of children. Smith faces a 13th allegation of possessing 19 extreme pornographic images which were grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character on March 7.
HANLEY
Andrew Bates, aged 44, formerly of Hanley, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm between October 4 and October 7. He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. Bates was remanded in custody.
HANLEY
Gareth Williams, aged 26, of Warrington Street, Hanley, has denied two charges of ill treatment or neglect of a person who lacks capacity between December 1, 2011 and April 7, last year. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on April 22 and he was granted bail.
LONGTON
Jamie Wilkinson, aged 22, of Copplestone Grove, Longton, who faces a charge of wounding with intent, will enter his plea at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on April 2. His bail was extended.
LONGTON
A man who attacked a woman is preparing to find out his fate. Nathan Foster, aged 22, pleaded guilty to assaulting Darci McGraw occasioning her actual bodily harm on September 22. He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. Foster, of Grosvenor Street, Longton, was bailed.
PORTHILL
Kyle Mills, aged 20, of Watlands View, Porthill, who faces a charge of wounding with intent, will enter his plea at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on April 29. His bail was extended.
STOKE-ON-TRENT
A 25-year-old man who denies possessing drugs is to go on trial. Genard Koraqe denied possession of 10.5 kilograms of powder containing cocaine with intent to supply on December 6. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in the week starting April 22. Koraqe, of Sedgley Avenue, Nottingham, was remanded in custody.
