Denny, of Nottingham, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a coach while over the drink-drive limit. He was handed a 12-month driving ban, fined £265 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Denny had taken a group of Nottingham friends to the theme park. Alton Towers organised transport to get them home.
