WITH its bright colours and bold prints the new Henry Holland range is bringing a sense of summer and a younger shopper into Debenhams.

While some of the collection could have you reaching for the sunglasses, the H! collection is the ultimate in must-have designer fashion – if you're daring enough to wear it that is.

Thursday is the official launch date of the range at the Potteries Shopping Centre store, though with pieces already on sale, personal shopper Andrea Sawyer-Hartley says it's already been an instant hit.

"We're trying to bring designers down to street level," she says, "and Henry Holland, pictured, is one we particularly like for people aged 17 to 25.

"If you go to the Henry Holland shop in London it's just like Jasper Conran, very expensive, but having it here makes it accessible to the younger shopper."

Taking its inspiration from late '90s TV, Seattle grunge and the fresh, pop attitude of the House Of Holland brand, H! combines pretty dresses, playsuits and denim with Holland's signature prints, slogan T-shirts and striking accessories.

Andrea adds: "The feedback we're getting from younger people has been really positive so far. It's something that I think has been missing from Debenhams, and hopefully it will do really well."

The official launch of H! By Henry Holland, featuring a DJ from The Fat Cat Cafe Bar, takes place at Debenhams in the Potteries Shopping Centre on Thursday 5pm to 8pm.
